Hitting The Boards With The Nba Forum
Well, here we are at the end of another great season. Its outcome is still to be determined and there s nothing much left to do about it but watch and wait to see who will become this year s champions. Almost nothing left to do, and that just doesn t seem right. You see, there are big basketball fans out there. They collect trading cards. They like playing basketball computer games. They also play fantasy basketball online during the regular season. They may be not that good a player, but they can get the ball in the hoop once in a while. They are good enough for the neighborhood tourneys. Now, the long wait until late October starts. That s when they ll get their basketball fix again. That s also when the fantasy basketball leagues start. Why can t basketball be an all year long activity. Some of you may feel like November is a long way to go. Funtasttic Kid S Time Out
Barcelona is a city where people spend a lot of time outside, so as a result there is children s play areas dotted around all over the city. There are also some lovely big parks, which are great places to take children to if one is visiting Barcelona. This city is also full of surprises for young visitors. Barcelona has a magic mountain Tibidabo. At the zoo one can see how a lot of animals live and a dolphin show. But one of the places where one can see the most fish is L Aqu rium. One can walk through a tunnel under the water and see sharks and fish of all shapes and sizes. Parc de la Ciutadella which has gardens, museums, zoo, cycling and rowing is a real haven, just nest to the Gothic quarters, behind the beach and near Arc de Triomf. A great place to picnic in, where there is lots of grassy shady areas. Also a boating lake where one can hire rowing boats, an over the top fountain designed by Josep Fontser and Antoni Gaudi, the Zoo, Zoology museum, a children s play area, and much more. El Laberint d Horta is a great place for children particularly because it has a big...

Our Love Of Racing
There s something about our human nature that enjoys being competitive. It is built within us and almost mimics primitive behavior. We seem to have this inner desire to be the top dog -- doing things quicker and smarter. It is sort of like self-preservation. We desire to go the distance through all hardships and never stop. This nature is very profound in athletes but we all have it to some degree. We are naturally competitive and sometimes even with ourselves. In sports, we usually always are supportive of a person or team even if we don t like sports or never participate in them. Sports have been around for about as long as mankind. And, we always want to be winners. It s funny to see people who are typically quiet and in self-control go crazy and lose it at the stock car races. We typically have no control over it. Even the most timid of us will cheer the success of those who are able to run, ski, kayak, swim, row, guide horses, or cycle faster than we are able to. We seem to still want to be the strongest, healthiest, and quickest. And, if we cannot be that then we love...
